Local 104's Apprenticeship Program is a comprehensive five-year program that combines paid, on-the-job training with classroom instruction. Apprentices graduate upon successfully completing 10,000 hours of on-the-job training and 1,230 hours of related classroom instruction.
Apprentices work full-time for one of Local 104's signatory contractors while attending classes two evenings per week from September through May at our state-of-the-art Training Facility. This combination of classroom education and hands-on field experience ensures every apprentice develops the skills, knowledge, and professionalism needed to become a highly qualified journeyperson.
